Our patrons Keith Arthur & Gary Newman
The Wey Valley Disabled Anglers Association, known as the WVDAA, is run by a democratically
elected committee under the rules of the Charity Commission. Our aim is to promote
disabled angling and organise disabled fishing alongside able-bodied anglers. We
also look after the interests of disabled anglers and encourage companionship and
fair competition between disabled and able-bodied anglers. Membership of our club
is open to able-bodied and disabled anglers alike.
The Wey Valley Disabled Anglers Association has full affiliation to:-
Basingstoke Canal AA & Springbok Estate
And these full club permits are included in the price of our membership.
We are also affiliated to:-
Godalming AS ---- Farnham AS ---- Guildford AS
And you can join these clubs through the WVDAA without any entrance fee or going
on a waiting list.
Our Fixture List comprises a 26 match Summer League for our disabled and able-bodied
members.
And each year, thanks to Godalming AS, we hold a Charity Sponsored Fish-in on their
Broadwater Lake to raise much needed funds for our association.
